ROTA delivers ambulance, food and medical supplies in Gaza

Qatar-based NGO Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) is currently spearheading emergency relief operations for victims of the conflict in Gaza.
A ROTA delegation has been present in Rafah since last week to make sure that humanitarian aid reaches the besieged strip.
In response to an urgent request by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, ROTA has delivered an ambulance at Rafah border to facilitate relief operations for the wounded in Gaza. More ambulances are planned to be delivered pending clearance and permits from authorities at the border.
ROTA has also managed to distribute over 5,000 food packages including sugar, rice and oil at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza. Medical supplies including medicines and equipment were also distributed at Nisar Hospital, Al Shifa Hospital and Children Specialist Hospital.
Omnia Nour, Director of ROTA, said:
ROTA's emergency response delegation, consisting of Omnia Nour, and two other ROTA representatives, is in Egypt to oversee the distribution of food and medical supplies into Gaza. The team is also conducting meetings with other NGOs to channel high energy biscuits, water and milk from the West Bank

"There is a crucial need for urgent humanitarian aid and we are steadfast in our resolve to assist the victims of this on-going conflict in the strip. Over 50% of the population in Gaza are innocent children. We have to do everything that is possible, to help them survive this war."
